Live 10 - Is it possible to touch record automation instead of drawing it in?

I'm a recent Logic user who switched over to Ableton Live 10. In logic there's an automation feature called 'Touch Mode' where it will record the automation for whatever knobs you turn during playback so you can get very smooth and precise sounding automation (and get it done very quickly).
Can any of you Ableton guru's out there tell me of an equivalent way to do this in Ableton?
Googling has surprisingly returned nothing much on this subject.
Top Comment: I think you’re probably not getting results because it is basically the default in Live. I think it is just called recording automations. So simply if you midi map parameters, hit record, and turn them, it will record them. It is latched by default.
Teams DTMF Touch Tones does NOT work with Live Operator?

To put it in layman terms, there are two type of operator in any audio conferencing bridge, one is IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and other is Live Operator (Actual Person).
Live Operator is the one who takes decision based on your response (press *1 to ask question) then operator will call you out to proceed with asking the question to presenter/someone else.
Now, suppose we make a PSTN call to that bridge number through Teams Dialpad (under Calls section), you all know we have a little dialpad waiting for us inside that Teams PSTN window. Using that little dialpad, we used to put in our responses like press *1 for Burger, *2 for Sushi.
These responses are known as DTMF Touch tones and it works fine for IVR but not for LIVE operator.
In other words, these responses gets properly captured by IVR but not by LIVE operator.
Ofcourse, all this happens when using Teams dialpad to make that call otherwise it works fine if we make that same call with mobile.
Are any of you guys aware bout this? Is this a bug by Microsoft?
P. S. We were not able to test this as we don't have such a number.

Did not do Live Firing in BMT. Will I ever touch a rifle anymore even if it’s with blanks

Hi, so title says all but anyways, am Pes B2. (No statuses and all) But I do know that I have lazy eye on my right eye which made my right eye quite blur and unable to see well when i scope and aim and because of this, almost failed IMT. But the conducting officer basically guided me where to aim (abit of lucky shots and hacks) which I somehow managed to pass at the end. However, due to this performance and feeling anxious about the live firing. I then told my Platoon Sergeant that I have no confidence in the live one. He then excused me from the live firing high key.
Still managed to POP and now currently on course in OES as a Tracked Technician. During the course, I was made to do OPS Duty instead of Guard duty cause I did not participate in BTP. So I heard that after course ends, there is a chance to be posted to FMP or FMW. Which FMP is the one where I must follow the armour combatants to their outfield to fix the vehicles and I will also need to draw rifles.
So my question is Will I ever touch a rifle again even if it’s with blanks or not loaded even when I do not have a medical status stating excused firearms. (Might be a dumb question but thanks for reading, really appreciate)

Same scenario as you bro, lazy eye in the right eye and depends on how bad your lazy eye is, could be perm excuse live firing. You still have to get clearance from MO regarding being able to fire live rounds. Up to them whether you can or cannot.
Doesn’t mean you won’t be able to fire blanks though. You still can touch a weapon during route marches etc when required but for actual firing it is up to MO, not your superiors. Anything can pm me
Should I get the Live Block, Loop Block, or Touch Block (or ?)

I have none of this stuff yet. I wanted the SongMaker kit but have found a lot of the blocks used and can order them separately to save money. I am still looking for the best deal on a Seaboard. I found a great deal on the Lightpad.
Other than those 2, I don't know if I should get the Loop, Live or Touch block? I don't REALLY know what each does which is why I can't decide. With the prices I have found, I may be able to pick 2 of those 3 blocks. I just don't know which and would appreciate any feedback.

Behringer X-Touch Live 11

I’m fairly set on getting a Behringer X-Touch DAW controller to replace my Icon Platform M+, but there are a lot of features that I’ve read don’t work properly on older versions of Ableton. This is from forum posts relating to Live 9 and 10 back in 2016-2020 or so.
I’m wondering if things are any better in 2024 with Ableton 11 and 12.
Can anyone tell me their experience with the following features in Live 11 or 12 working as labelled?
- Encoder switch for Pan, EQ, Send and Plug-in
- Time display switch between SMPTE and Beats
- Under this, do the mix views of MIDI track, Audio Tracks, Instruments etc work?
- Do the programmable function buttons work? Can they be customised?
- And for the automation and transport buttons, I'm particularly keen on knowing if the following do as labelled?
- Save, Undo, Cancel, Enter, Marker, Nudge, Cycle, Drop, Click and Solo.
